We are incredibly proud and excited to announce:
our Jungle Folk collection has finally arrived!

An increasing volume of clothing is transported by air worldwide — with serious environmental consequences. Major corporations such as Inditex rely heavily on air freight to distribute their collections at high speed. At Zaragoza Airport in Spain alone, up to 15 cargo flights depart each week carrying garments exclusively for brands like Zara.

However, the constant availability of new styles comes at a significant environmental cost: air transport generates substantially higher CO₂ emissions compared to sea or land freight.

At Jungle Folk, we’ve consciously chosen a different path. For the first time, we opted for sea freight. Our finest cotton and alpaca knitwear embarked on a month-long journey from Lima across the Atlantic to Rotterdam. From there, they continued by land through Europe to Zurich.

Our pieces now save between 1.85 – 2.43 kilograms of CO₂, resulting in 90% fewer emissions compared to air freight. [Read more about it here].
